EVENT PRODUCTION
AUGUST '26 COMMERCE CLUB PRIVATE MASTERMIND
We hosted a Commerce Club Private Mastermind event, and I'm really proud of how this one came together. Forty people in the room, including our mentors Ben Shaw and Phillip Demetriades, a mix of our Cypriot client base and members who flew in from the UK specifically to be there.
My role covered the day from the ground up:
- Planned the topic and overall structure of the event
- Built the full production timeline, marketing and invite copy, and Instagram story campaign
- Designed the banners and agenda
- Put together the presentation deck James spoke from
- Arranged the guest speaker programme, bringing in Tristan van den Berg to cover SEO, press and editorial strategy, and Generative Engine Optimisation
- Handled the food for the day, artisanal dishes made by hand for forty people
On the day itself, I was coordinating the room while working alongside two videographers, and producing the short-form and Instagram Stories content as it happened. It's a demanding balance to strike, making sure the day works as a real experience for the people living it, while also capturing it well enough to share afterward.
What told me the day had landed wasn't any of the planning coming together smoothly. It was that nobody wanted to leave. We ended up taking the whole group for a swim afterward, still dressed from presenting. Forty people came for business and left feeling like they'd spent the day with family, and that's the feeling I want every future event to carry.
