The Founders Table was a private dinner at our home in Paphos for fifteen of the entrepreneurs and founders we're closest to here in Cyprus. On the surface it was a social evening between friends. Underneath, it was a brand moment: a chance to build relationships and create content and PR for James's personal brand, without it ever feeling staged.

My role covered the evening from start to finish:

• Planned and organised the dinner, from the first idea to the running order of the night
• Designed the decor: modern, in black, with a palette that was part mine and part James's
• Set the table outside by the pool, facing the Paphos horizon at sunset
• Cooked dinner for all fifteen guests
• Directed the content, working alongside our videographer

On the night, I was hosting and directing at the same time, making sure every guest felt looked after while guiding our videographer toward the moments worth keeping. The best content from an evening like this comes from people relaxing into it, so my job was to make it feel like a dinner, not a shoot.

What made the evening was simple. The sun went down over the Paphos horizon, the food was good and the company was better. That's what I want people to take from any event I put on: the feeling that they were somewhere worth being, with people worth being around.
